An apparatus for producing foam of water, air and a surfactant composition, particularly for use in the manufacture of foam concrete, is described. It comprises devices for preparing a fl fate of relatively dilute solution of a surfactant preparation in water, and a controlled fl fate of air premix in a mixer . The device is characterized in particular by the fact that the air flow is effected by a single compressor (8) arranged to direct compressed air via a mass flow sensor (11) and a valve (9) arranged to regulate the air flow to the mixer (10).

The device according to the invention will be described in more detail in the following with reference to the attached figure, which shows a schematic diagram of a preferred embodiment thereof.
A first pump is denoted by 1, a series-connected first valve 2 and a first giv sensor 3 for supplying water. A container 4 for dissolving the surfactant is connected to a second pump 5 and a second flow sensor 6. A mixer 7 is arranged to mix the water fl and the fl of the said solution. The flow sensors 3 and 6 are connected to a computer (not shown) whereby the valves 2 and 5 are controlled by the fate sensors 3 and 6. A mixer 7 mixes the fate of water and solution of the surfactant preparation.
A compressor 8 presses air via a dehumidifier 12 to a mass sensor 11, which via a series-connected valve 9 regulates the mass flow of air to a mixer 10. In this way the required amount of air in relation to the waves of water and solution of surfactant is always obtained, of the air pressure the compressor 8 produces. The mixture from the mixer 10 is further homogenized in a mixer 13. The foam from this is then fed to devices for mixing with sand and cement to obtain foam concrete with the required density, set via a computer (not shown).

Apparatus for the production of foam of water, air and a surfactant, in particular for use in the manufacture of foam concrete, comprising devices for preparation a fl fate of relatively dilute solution of a surfactant in water, and a controlled fl fate of air for mixing a first mixer characterized in that the air flow is effected by a compressor (8) arranged to direct compressed air via a mass flow sensor (11) and a valve (9) arranged to regulate the air flow to the first mixer (10).

Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the device comprises a first pump (1) with a series-connected first valve (2) and a first fate sensor (3) for supplying water, further a container (4) for dissolving the surfactant preparation. connected to a second pump (5) and a second giv fate sensor (6), a second mixer (7) being arranged to mix water det fate and fl fate of said solution.

Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a means (12) for removing moisture is arranged in the air flow from the compressor (8).

Device according to any one of claims 2 or 3, characterized in that fl the fates of water, solution of surfactant and air are arranged to be controlled by a computer, whereby the proportions of fl fates are adjustable.
